As a youth, I won an IBJJF Juvenile world title and at that moment knew I wanted to pursue Jiu-Jitsu as a career. I spent the next decade traveling the world from Dubai to Asia on the quest to become the best I could be. Along the way, I earned my bachelor’s degree but never stopped working at my craft.<\/p>
All tournament experiences, some great, some not so great, were learning lessons for me. From the time we ran our first NorCal Legacy championship over a decade ago until now, my love for Jiu-Jitsu has stayed the same but my knowledge has exponentially increased. As my competition career is winding down, its time to focus once again on what I love.
